4. Races

Elves and dwarves are the elderly races of this world. Then there are also humans, halflings, gnomes, and the orcs. The rise of Kol Empire brought all sorts of new kind of races to this world ... mostly of diabolic nature. There are demons and undeads, and their half bred offsprings now walking the earth between Toth in the East and Balifor in the West.

5. Religions

The world Kol is a meeting place of all sort of religions, even alien ones from other worlds, or even other time and dimensions. Perhaps it is some kind of unique characteristic of this world that draws gods power. Even the fame and powerful individuals of this world are not native kindred. Here are some:

Triock
Triock Rosenthal
The sect of Triock worships Triock Rosenthal, a powerful god and patron of those of mixed parentage.  The order is somewhat large, although not as prominent as the major
pantheons (Greek, humanoid, Norse).   Its a very secretive order however. Basically the religeion is open to those of mixed races.  Half-elves in particular find comfort with it, and serves as a school for magicians and other crafts. The sect also has links to the upper order of Shanapsi.
Erevan Ilesere  Elven God of mischief. The church of Erevan were the first to discover drow infiltration in the Elven kingdom Tristian.

Olindinus keeps a journal of the Company adventure.
The Diary of Arana The tale of Arana and Weidlow is a sad one. Weidlow is a lord and prince of kingdom Shana. Their joy of love and life ended abruptly and violently when Weidlow found his beloved wife was murdered, along with their five years old son. Weidlow mourned their death and blamed Kol for it. He challanged Kol. Weidlow was a grand master of magic and the art of Shanapsi. He was feared by many, but the undead lord Kol was stronger. Kol couldn't bring himself to kill Weidlow, because they share the same blood, so he imprisoned Weidlow until the prince went mad.Kol's punishment did not stop there. He transformed Weidlow to a lich, and cunningly arranged that Weidlow is contained in the tomb of his wife and son --his tomb too, for his people actually believed he is dead. So for many centuries, the lich Weidlow walks the dead and dusted labyrinth of his wife and son Tomb, ploting for revange. The Company recovered the Arana's diary ... but had to release the lich Weidlow in return for a safe passage out of the tomb.
